calls I did not make

I checked my airtime history and found a few calls I did not make.

Calls range in duration from 1 to 5 min:

To: 902-580-4001

There was zero cost attached to the calls - but it would still be good to know.

I am guessing it's related to voice mail (MSG RTRVL, NS) - but I don't have voice mail setup nor did I access it.

I did a "reverse 411" on the number - and it shows it to be a TELUS Mobility number in Halifax NS.   It also said the number was requested on the site 3,439 times in the past 2 weeks.

Does anyone know what's going on?

I'm on a monthly plan using a Samsung Galaxy A5 phone.

Hi Michael,
It is likely the Koodo voicemail number. The voicemail is attached to your number anyway. I don't think you can take it off and I am not worried about it.

From my experiences, that number showed up more often in the bill when I were using Android.

I thought it would be VM.  But I don't think I tried to access it (only b/c I don't have it set up).  Anyways - seems like a minor thing so I won't worry about it.

Thanks dirk and Dinh.

It may still be receiving voice mail messages. If you don’t want to miss callers, you should indeed set it up, even if you leave an extended absence greeting, and choose to turn off the recording of voice mails. You can confirm simply by calling your number from another phone.
