I have been given a 1-877 (toll free) no. to call an organisation based in Toronto. I am in Northern Ontario - so on the 300 minute Canada wide calling plan if I called the associated 416 area coded number I get that I would use the plan minutes for the call but... as much as the 1-877 number is free to call - my question is if such a call will stil eat into my plan minutes???

I'm sure that the answer is plainly written out somewhere and probably didn't need to be asked - so either a definitive answer or a link to that information would be appreciated.

Toll free numbers still use airtime, so it will use your 300 minutes
