Did you turn off call display from your phone app settings?

No I had not.
Calling *611 and was told I did not have callerID.
Which is BS. Worked one day and no the next.
For now it has costed me a plan change and lose of 50 any time minutes to get it back. Said they would look into it. Wanted to see if anyone else had this problem.

Hey Jim,

Has there been any activity on your account lately? Like an equipment change?

Did you happen to have a Blackberry before? Because you might've had the old Blackberry Value add-on, which included Call Display and Voicemail but isn't compatible with newer Blackberries and non-Blackberries. Once that add-on is removed (though that shouldn't happen automatically) your call display would stop working.

I changed from Blackberry Basic to Blackberry Social a few days ago, but CallerID stopped working before that change was made. I have had the same Blackberry device for 2 years now.

Okay then, Blackberry Basic includes Caller ID, and Blackberry Social doesn't. Can't say why it stopped working before the change.

Also, I didn't realize that Blackberry Social could even be added anymore.

EDIT: Nevermind, I guess it can be added, I just haven't seen too many customers who are still looking for the feature.

Well thanks for that. Does not make sense why one does and the other does not.
Well I do not have a data plan on this phone. I can live without data when not at home. Just wanted to BBM to keep in touch with family. Went with BB Social because BB Protect does not work on BB Basic, but does on Social.

Each one has certain features that attract different types of consumers. If they added Caller ID to Social it would have a bigger value than Basic and would probably then increase the price. At least you get to use BlackBerry protect with Social :D
