Because koodo raised the prices of all their plans by $2. That's all the reason we'll ever know.

Here is the answer we got when we asked:

Everyone would like to see prices for anything only go in two directions. Stay flat or go down. The only exception is the price of one's self worth. That we would always like to see go up. Whether one works on an hourly basis or on a salary.

I hope this answers your question as much as it has answered ours

Hello Johnny

Unfortunately there is no reason to explain why prices went up. They make a decision and every company follows. It may be because the half year budget didn't go as planned. It could be many other reasons. There is no real explication and I doubt there will be any. Sometimes this is how the business decided to work... So be it. We could discuss for hours about that but I'm very sorry to tell you that there won't be any answer for your question. I'd like to have one myself

@Johnny
Sadly yes.

I think Robert has it right.
It sucks. If you find something or somewhere else better, I'd say jump ship. Otherwise you are stuck with what they have

Maybe you guys shouldn't have spent all that money on the "Happy" campaign. Now customers aren't happy.

Lol it happens and really it's only 2 bucks. I could see if it went up 10 bucks or more but everything goes up from food to shipping an item every year. Like Robert said there's always reasons but I'm sure they won't tell us.

As many have said, there will be no explanation by Koodo. 2$ is not that much honestly so no need to be that concerned about it. Also, Koodo often comes out with new promo plans that you can always switch to when the time comes. I'm not sure when or what the next promo plans happen, but they do tend to happen a couple times a year.

True @Melissa however the whole point of the New Tab were so that the plans already had the 10% no tab discount included, now that the plans went up, the new tab has proven to be even less effective

Most of the people must agree with you. I am not happy but what can we do? Nothing much...

It's 2 bucks @johnny. I don't see the reason for the complaining. Again everything goes up every year. Be happy it's only 2 whole dollars. The new tab if you read it is just fine and has not been effected by this as far as I know. You want to complain try having 6 kids all under 8 lol.

Let's hope that's only when they have jobs to afford them themselves ;) (the case in our household... and I'm glad my parents made this the rule!)
