I'm currently on vacation in Australia and would like to forward calls from my Canadian Koodo phone number to my Australian  Vodafone phone number. Is this possible?

No.  If you want to activate call forwarding you need to be on the Koodo network.  But call forwarding still costs money per minute unless you get the add-on and forwarding to a non-canadian number will incur long distance charges too.  So this may not be what you are looking for

You'll still be able to call your voicemail and check if anyone left a message, but as Dennis said, you can't forward calls to an international number.

I believe you could forward your call to a Canadian and US number (+1), but not to UK/AU number. There might be some long distance, and forwarding charges involved.

I would suggest you open a new number with fongo (a voip) for free. You will get a Canadian number with it. Then you could forward your Canadian number to the fongo number while you travel in UK or AU.

There was a horror story on this and other boards about a year ago when someone tried to forward their Canadian Koodo calls to a US number while they were in the US. They ended up with a big roaming fia$co.

There are international forwarding services, but for a short vacation they are hardly worth the cost and effort. You have to get a Fongo or International forwarding service number, have your Koodo calls forwarded there, and then deal with the additional charges for the second part of the relay to Australia.
