I'd like to set up call forwarding to a Canadian number while that number is outside of Canada. Is this possible, and would I set it up on self serve as a regular call forwarding add on? Thanks.

Yes it is possible and it is done from your phone.

To Activate: *21* + phone number + # + SEND

So all phone calls from your phone will be sent to that phone number.

Keep in mind that it is 0.50$/min of call forwarding unless you add the 3$ unlimited call forwarding add on.

WHOA! Some legalese & language barrier clarification required here.

If you are going to involve an active Koodo phone that is located outside of Canada, you may get charged for roaming &/or long distance, like it or not.

http://community.koodomobile.com/kood...

Call forwarding add-on & service is designed for forwarding calls uniquely within the Canadian phone system apparently.

Best to check with Koodo on exactly what you plan to do via their secure email, so that whatever answer you get is recorded.

Don't take anyone else's word for it.

If you are going to do this on a regular basis, there are cheaper and safer alternatives. Just ask.

You are right however Kylie specified that both numbers are canadian, therefore the only charges would be the call forwarding charge and a roaming fee for picking up the phone.

So what is the final answer on this? Both numbers are Canadian, the one receiving the forwarded call is in the US and it has US roaming add-on activated... Is there a roaming or long distance charge besides call forwarding charge, or not?
