Call forwarding from stolen phone

My phone was stolen tonight. Is there a way to forward calls from my mobile number to my landline? I do have the call forwarding add on on my account already but clearly can't use the regular call forwarding using the cell phone itself. It's a Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 Android phone.

The steps Koodo provides on their help page is assuming you have the phone. I'm assuming there is no way without access to the line via a phone. You could send a private message to Koodo via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter to see about another way and explaining your situation. You can also just get a new sim, transfer over, and borrow any phone to do it quick.

thanks for the reply. I decided to just phone the mobile number, go into the voicemail configuration, and change my answer message to say that the phone was stolen so please don't leave a message but call my land line instead. That should do the trick for now.

Transferring the SIM as Goran suggests also stops the offending party from racking up a bill on your behalf. Just changing your voicemail greeting... not so much.

Best to add the monthly call forwarding add-on to your account as well. Those per-use charges will add up quickly.

My SIM card has a PIN on it and the phone has a PIN to unlock it as well so I'm no too worried about a bill (just about the cost of a new phone and the inconvenience of it all!).
