BYOP discount

So after getting my first bill, the e-bill did not have the 10% BYOP discount applied. I called in and the CSR told me that this "discount" is in process for the first month. Starting from the second month onward, the 10% discount should be applied. Also, she said that I won't have the 10% discount back that I didn't get in the first month. I think I suppose to have the 10% BYOP discount for my first month right?

Call back and speak to another CSR. When I was with Rogers, I'd call back a few hours later to get a different response that suited my needs. Doesn't hurt.

Just to add to this, make sure you request the adjustment. This is one of those exceptions where they don't or SHOULDN'T give you the run-around about a credit. The first bill should have had the discount applied.

You are correct. There is an issue with that SIM only discount on the first bill. It's an easy fix for the first bill to be adjusted for the 10% discount on your monthly plan and add-ons excluding voice and data overages, taxes, credits and late payment charges.
