BYOP new sim and data isn't working

I got a new koodo sim 3 days ago and i am using it with a telus phone (lg g4) but the data isn't working. I already edited the APN, restarted my phone and put the airplane mode a couple of times but it's still not working.

Hi Maria, This may sound silly but it's the first place we have to start as some ppl accidentally miss it, is your data enabled in the phones setting under data usage?
Also double check your APN settings again as one small error inputting a field will make a difference and also delete any other APN's present if your able to.
Make sure there is not a data block in the account on Koodo's end as well by going into your self serve online.
