Hi everybody,

I do have an iPhone 4c from Koodo. I wanna buy a Nexus. Do I get any credits by buying a second phone? I also asked a friend to switch to Koodo and probably she will buy a Nexus too. Do I get credits for that too? Will I need to change my plan? Once I buy a nexus, will I be able to use my Koodo sim card interchangeably with any of the phones? I would appreciate your answers as I am thinking to buy my Nexus tomorrow. Thanks.

Koodo does not have a referral program as of right now.
you can use your tab to get the new phone.
Once your new phone is activated you can switch your sim card between phones as long as both phones use a micro sim card.

As long as your sim card is the proper size for the new phones you can switch between them as often as you like. I do it all the time between my BlackBerry 10's and my S5, Moto G.

Just pop it in and go.

Do you guys perhaps know if I can use Nexus when I go abroad on holiday this summer? It's not unlocked, isn't it? Is it ok with the European sim cards?

All nexus devices are factory unlocked

Thanks Chad. Do you perhaps know if I can use Nexus 5 and iPhone 4 with sim cards that have different chip sizes? Is cutting the sim card appropriately enough, despite the different chip sizes?

You will find different opinions on this one. You'll need to look closely at the chip to see if it's possible to cut. I prefer not cutting but to each his own.

Now that we got the phones actually we were reading more carefully the agreement. We love Nexus 5 and the camera quality, but in one place of the agreement it says that we need to pay $50 dollars to unlock our phones to be used by other services and we will need to use these phones with Vodafone in Europe. Do we need to pay an additional $50? And how come the referral code says that it has been previously used :s In addition, before I used to call customer service from my friend, which had unlimited mn from another provider. Each time that we call now the customer service from our numbers will we be charged? I hope there is sb who will be able to answer all of our questions. Thanks a lot.

Since the Nexus line of devices is sold factory unlocked, that wouldn't apply to you. Nexus=Unlocked

Customer service will only charge you for making changes to your acct that you could make yourself via selfserve. They never charge you for simply calling in with an issue.

If you are talking about charge for airtime minutes since you mentioned your friend has unlimited minutes... *611 doesn't use your minutes. Also it doesn't use your minutes if you call customer service with 1-866...during your "evening and weekend" period.
