I want to buy a new phone (LG G3 refurbished). Is it possible to do so without having to add a plan? Or to add my current prepaid plan?

If your buying the phone out right, you can do whatever you please with it. If your putting it on a tab, you have to follow whatever tab bracket your paying into Tab normal, or Tab Plus which neither are Pre Paid.

The reason its asking you to choose a plan is because the LG G3 is under the POST PAID phone section. And for that you need a monthly plan. It will not simply allow you to buy it, and then add it to your former pre paid plan for whatever reason. It sounds silly and it is, I will make a post about it in the IDEAS section to see if i can get more answers for you. I have pulled these answers from other posts related to the same situation answered by others so bare with me. Give an email (http://koo.do/11eMLdy) asking how you can go about getting this phone for your pre paid account and they should be able to at least point you in the right direction.

Keep your eyes online for a G3 over the next few weeks as the G5 is being anounced on Sunday. So people will be looking to sell their old phones.

Hey guys! If you have any questions concerning online orders, you should email the webstore directly at koodo.webstore@koodomobile.com as they will have more information to provide you. For the time being, the only way to purchase a device online is through an existing Postpaid account or by creating a Postpaid account, and thus doing a credit check and choosing a monthly rate plan.

Why? If we want to buy it outright? Would Koodo rather someone buy the phone elsewhere and bring it over then buy it from Koodo directly?
