Is it possible to buy a new device from Koodo and still keep my grandfathered plan from Public Mobile?

Do you want to buy a device from Koodo and use it with Public Mobile or port your number to Koodo while still keeping the same plan?
For the first, i believe you need an account with Koodo to buy a phone from them although some retailers may be more lenient on this.
For the second, unless you have received a promo offer then no. Koodo's unlimited talk and text plan is $40/month.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I successfully ported my account over from Public Mobile a few months ago and I am now a Koodo customer. I pay $25/month and have the same/equivalent features that I used to have with Public Mobile. I am using an older device and wondering about upgrading, but would like to keep my plan if possible. Thanks

I received a text message yesterday that said: "Koodo: HOORAY! Special offer just for [my mobile number]. You're getting THIS discount on select phones when you upgrade with the Tab! Offer ends Oct 15, 2017. Claim this deal: http://koo.do/claimdeal234 or head to your closest Koodo shop to redeem. Conditions apply..."

Gotcha. You can buy a phone outright no problem and you should be able to get a phone on tab small while keeping your current plan. You can try buying a phone online and if you dont get prompted to change your plan than youre all good!

Thanks Allan. I added an iPhone SE to my cart under a Tab Medium and the next step is to "Pick a Plan". It does the same when I choose a device under Tab Small. So, looks like it can't be done without changing my plan?

Yeah I think you would have had to take advantage of the offer Koodo had of switch from public mobile and upgrading your phone and keeping your same plan at the time of switching unfortunately

I think so too. I tried the link on my self-serve, didn't do anything.
