I have just experienced the worst customer service from a koodo rep. Apparently doesn't care that about to lose a 300 dollar a month customer

This is normal with every carrier so don't know what you expect.... Well brand new phone well that's not how it works. Your other option is to have it sent away for repair.
Not sure why ppl care if a device is refurbished as its in perfect condition so physically you can't tell a difference at all between a refurbished device or a brand new device and the refurbished is actually better because a tech has went over the device completely where a brand new device is just pumped out off an assembly line with a quick check to just see it boot up and in the box it goes.

Like I said this is normal with every single carrier so nomatter where you go you won't be happy because nobody is giving you a new phone after the 15 day exchange period.

Best response ever. I'm a huge advocate for refurb.
A pro literally went over the device and certified it as perfect.
instead of just opening the box and praying there is no defect from factory (like the one OP is currently experiencing)

Refurb = someone independent has gone thru the hoops testing this item after fixing whatever the problem was. Never seen a refurb unit without perfect cosmetics on screen,  buttons and and other areas of owner contact.

I'll weigh in too. I've purchased refurbished units just because of the value thdy represent and have never had issues with the function or appearance. Refurbished units are fine.

May I also point out that the brand new phone you got in the first place "crapped out after a month", so any argument that new phones are more reliable goes directly against the evidence.

Even though it's only been a month, you're not giving back a brand new device anymore. It's been used for a month. Your replacement device will be in comparable or better condition.

Oh you were almost about to say exactly what I was thinking.
The refurb devices were ones used from 1-30 days.
There is an extremely good chance that the refurb you get is less used than your broken one.
