Settings, Mobile Networks, Network Operators, Select Automatically (or just select Koodo).
Settings, Carrier, Automatic

These are just general. If you let us know your specific model of phone we can give you exact instructions.

You can't switch to Koodo while in the USA, unless adjacent to the border. AT&T is one of Koodo's roaming partners, and will be one of the carriers you will need to connect with to have any service.

Ahh, I see what you're saying now Barbara. Even though it says AT&T you are still connected with Koodo. Koodo doesn't have any physical towers in the US but have agreements to use those of other carriers like AT&T. When you get back to Canada you will see your phone say Koodo once again.
You can still use your phone as normal.

While you are roaming, the phone will usually display some local information on the home screen, such as time, current network, weather, etc. It's normal to display AT&T or T-Mobile rather than Koodo while you are in the US.
