Like seriously, the ONLY Android phones I have had that lasted electronically speaking have been Xperia phones. I have gone through 6 Samsung phones in 2 years (including my wife's usage) and not 1 Samsung I have ever seen has a working compass (I need it for work). I am sick and tired of being forced to choke on a Samsung phone or forced to take a pile of crap. The Z3 is waterproof, can play directly from a PS4, and pair with a PS4 controller, it supports 128GB microSD for music horders, and Sony works DIRECTLY with AOSP development...so that company actually contributes to the guys dedicated to making Android better NO other company does that.
In fact, I am willing to give up my awesome phone plan and leave Koodo who I have been with since 2009 just so I do not have to buy one of the phones you have, I hate them that much. Yes I know I can get an unlocked phone, but that is not the point, we shouldn't have to pay an outrageous online fee to get a phone we actually want and should be able to actually use our tab.
The flanker brands are all "budget" oriented to begin with. Aside from that, I would not call a 300 dollar phone a budget phone. The Moto G at 250 is kind of on the border, and punches above its price point. Who knows? The way the CAD is going, mid range phones are likely to become far more popular in the near future.
