I want to apply for three plans for my family. Can we enjoy 'bring your own phone and save 10%'?

No, from my understanding that benefit was removed as an option with the new tab structure, that launched today. Plans though however did drop a little bit in price as a result I believe (I don't remember exactly what they use to be).

Prices or what they include for bring your own actually seem better than what they were.

If I have an older plan with an older tab can I switch to the 10% off when my tab reaches zero? My plan is better than the new plans and I was hoping to enjoy the extra 10% when the tab is paid.

That option will not longer be available. You can continue to gain positive tab up until $150 but no one will be able to switch to the 10% off No Tab discount.

Hmmm.. So could I then use the $150 positive tab towards a new phone and keep my existing plan? Otherwise Koodo effectively just raised the grandfathered plans by 10%.

Yes you can always keep your exisiting plan (unless you want to use Tab Plus)

From what I understand, is that you cannot get the 10% discount any longer. If you already have the discount, then once you upgrade your phone, you will instantly lose it. You will still need to pay full price for the new phone, either by using the NEW TAB, or by paying full price outright. So I'd say that they effectively raised the grandfathered plans by 10%, unless you bring in your phones from elsewhere for the rest of your life.

Don't use Tab Plus it is a scam. The new regular plans are excellent, along with the Tab normal 300 setup. Tab Plus on the other hand is a massive ripoff unless your lucky enough to live in MB or Sask (or get a MB or Sask number) and take advantage of the 48 dollar 5 GB plan which is consider a Tab Plus plan for those folks.
