i have a pre-paid account for my daughter - her old samung phone died so we got an iPhone 4 locked to Telus. Bought a new pre-paid Sim card (micro) from Koodo, but when I go to site to change SIM, it says invalid. Not sure how to correct.

I recall reading earlier today that swapping Sims online is temporarily disabled and that you must call in unfortunately.

Must be a prepaid SIM, the "expensive" $20 as well. The regular post-paid one is a no-go. I imagine unless properly informed many customers will go for the "cheaper" wrong choice.

That $20 can really be $0 since it gets credited back to your prepaid account on activation.

It was the $20 card. Will call tomorrow to correct. Thanks

Hey Andrew!

Is everything working properly now? If so, what was the issue? Keep us posted :)

All is good now. When I called in they confirmed the card was defective, so I had to go back to the Koodo stall and swap it. The new one worked and let me switch the sims. Slight slow down as the iPhone 4 defaults to 2g but we got past that and now everything is working great.

Great! We are happy to see that it was an easy fix :)
