Bought sim card in store, can't remove sim card from cart when trying to activate

I'm coming from Public Mobile and want to get the special. I went in store today to buy a sim card, because I wanted to get the transfer done this weekend. But I want to activate online so I can get the $100 referral. However, when I go to add the special plan, it automatically adds a sim card to my cart and I can't remove it.

What do I do?

Thank you!

Hi Felix,
If you do online, you will have to buy the SIM there. You cannot remove it.
The referral credit has reduced to $25. So It might not be an advantage to do it online.

Since you already have the card you'll need to call to activate or go back to where you bought it and get them to activate it if you don't want to pay for another SIM Card so you can do it online

Can I get it activated at another store? Or is it possible to return the sim card for a refund? I wish the sales person told me today that I couldn't activate by myself when I bought it. I told him explicitly what it was for too.

Where did you buy it? I believe SIM card is non-refundable.
Yes, you could use the SIM at a Koodo kiosk or wallmart, bestbuy, wowmobile.. Just tell them you want to use that SIM and you don't need another SIM.

Perfect, I'll try that tomorrow.

Bought it at a Koodo kiosk, the receipt says 15 days for refunds so not sure. But will bring it to another kiosk (that's closer to home) to try tomorrow.
