Bought this iPhone and destroyed my previous sim card thinking I was done with this one. All because I got a new one which wasn't activated

If yo already had a nano Sim all you had to do was pop it in your new iPhone. No worries though. http://help.koodomobile.com/getting-s... can activate it onl and you should be good to go.

We have done this for my wife's move from an older iphone 5 to an iphone SE. But when old SIM is installed it says that she needs an activation code which is sent by SMS and since phone is not receiving texts she cannot receive that code. It's a catch 22. What can she possibly do?

She is using her old SIM because persons here said that approach would work. And Koodo rep told us that the new SIM which came with her phone was not activated and old Sim was the way to keep her line going. Thanks for letting me know as it's driving her nuts.
