Have you tried rebooting your phone?

Have you tried deleting the Bluetooth info on the phone and then pairing it to the car again fresh?
Also what phone do you have?

What phone do you have and what car system is it?

If the above suggestions don't work, try pairing another phone to your car. If that doesn't work, then something is obviously wrong with the car system. If another phone works, try pairing your phone with another Bluetooth device and see what happens.
