Bring BlackBerry back to Koodo!  Q5, Q10, Z10 and the newest, Passport.
I'm totally disappointed that Koodo has eliminated BlackBerry from its phones.

I agree Koodo should carry the BlackBerry Passport! Sad to see Telus carry it but not Koodo

I completely agree. I would like to see Koodo carry the Passport too!

I would guess the demand isn't nearly high enough on the Passport. The old phones like the Q10 and Z10 didn't really sell much, and I think the Passport is priced higher than it would need to be if it was to sell well with Koodo.

Mark: the only BlackBerry OS 10 phone that Koodo ever carried (to the best of my knowledge) is the Q5. It never carried the Q10 nor Z10.

I believe there is indeed demand for the Passport amongst Koodo's current client base: one may scroll through all of the Koodo Community comments/questions on the issue over the past few weeks.

The price of the Passport should be a non-issue, given that Koodo is selling the iPhone 6, which costs more than the Passport.

The main problem with Blackberries is that they are not Iphones or Androids. By this I mean that they are out of favor, not that they are inferior phones. Public perception is that the company is on the ropes therefore there must be something wrong with their products.

The younger set only wants to be seen with the latest Iphone, not with a Blackberry. BBs are for losers, or at least that's the perception. BB has a marketing problem, not a product problem.

The older BBs were sort of a PITA because they required a special BB plan. That problem has gone away with the BB 10 phones, but the stigma remains. We can't expect Koodo to offer phones that no one wants. (Hint: if you want a state of the art phone at a reasonable price buy an unlocked BB 10 phone and bring it to Koodo and get the monthly discount. I did that with my Z 10 and I'm thrilled. My next phone will probably be a Passport once the price falls.)

Both the Z and Q 10's were available before, although it was a while ago. And for the most part I believe they were only available at Koodo Shops. I actually had one of the Koodo Z10's, and have thought about trying to get my hands on a Z30 that I could get unlocked.

But as Daved says below, the problem is that Blackberry seems to be slowly going into the forgotten past of cell phones. That's not to say they aren't great phones, its just they aren't the "Hot" phones to have anymore. And the Passport is mainly designed for business/enterprise customers, which is an area where Koodo doesn't traditionally try and play in. And price certainly does play a part in things, Apple can get away with their pricing because its the hottest device out. Same thing with Samsung, people will pay a premium for a "Galaxy", but most people aren't willing to pay the big bucks for a Blackberry that will get them made fun of by their Iphone and Android friends.
