y do I have a 10.00 charge on my bill for data usage. wifi isn't even on my phone

Wifi is different than data, you aren't charged for Wifi from koodo you would be charged for Wifi usage from your home Internet provider.

As far as the charge goes you must have used data to go on the Internet or to use an app on your phone if you have a smartphone.

You said you don't have Wifi which I think you meant data and I'm guessing you think you don't have data because you have one of the talk and text plans. Well even the talk and text plans have data just not included in the price of the plan it's charged on a pay per use charge.

If you don't want data at all then you can get a data block placed on your account but if this is done you won't be able to send picture messages (mms) as data is needed to send or receive them (data used to send or receive picture messages isn't charged for but data used by other apps or widgets are)

Sounds like you turned it on to receive picture messages or it was turned on by accident... maybe it was during initial setup of the phone in store? Could be any # of things.

If you want to dispute a bill, then call customer service when they're open from any phone using 1-866-995-6636 or *611 from your Koodo phone.
