I have been billed for the wrong plan. I should have the $45.00 plan. Last night I was given the special deal of 500 minutes talk time and 1 TB of data. What is going on with my bill??

I'm not getting what your saying because Koodo doesn't have and never have offered such a plan as 1 TB of data, the highest they've ever had is 6gb of data which was an add on. How were you offered this plan?

It's obvious they mean GB

Ok and the only plan they have with 1gb of Data is one that has 400 minutes not 500 minutes. I guess that's a typo also. I wasn't thinking about it like that my bad your probably correct Ahmad.

Sorry guys you are right I meant 1gb. The point I am trying to make is that I was billed for a $75 plan and not the $45 plan that i signed up for.

If your bill is higher than expected and it's your first bill, it's probably proration..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlXFWW...

If you still have billing questions, your best bet is to call *611 from your Koodo phone and speak with a rep who can access your account information and actually see what's going on.

yes I called *611 but it is a holiday and I am going overseas tomorrow. I checked my account under plans and I have the $45 plan + $2 for int'l calls, but my bill is for $75 "plan" plus tax.

As Ahmad said, that would be proration. If you change your plan partway through the month you will be charged the difference in price for the remaining portion of the current billing cycle in addition to the month in advance for next month.

Gotta be a little clearer Greg. To start with koodo doesn't have a 500 minute plan. After 400 minutes (promo) plans become unlimited. Second, the $45 plan does come with 1gb data under the current promo.

ok I may not have understood clearly. At any rate he upgraded me to the extra minutes talk time from 200 and from 500 MB to I TB data for the same price of $45. The main thing is that my plan costed $45 not $75.

Any bill you just got would have been for a billing cycle that closed a few days ago. If you just changed the plan last night, how would it show on the bill?

I was just explaining that the person on the phone in customer service verified that I had a $45 plan that's all. I do not know why I have been billed for a $75 plan. I then added the $2 for int'l calls.

Ok Koodo does not have a $75 plan so you must mean that is the total of your bill which is either overages because you went over your calling or data limits or because of proration like was previously explained above.

If the bill is saying that your monthly plan on it's own is $75 than it's probably proration like was said by everyone else.

Do you have access to your self serve account online? There you can download a PDF of the bill and on page 3 you can see a more detailed breakdown of your plans and add-ons.

All of these plans include some amount of Internet access: https://www.koodomobile.com/rate-plan...
It's just a matter of how much data you want. The price can be anywhere between $35 and $95 a month. Also, your caps lock is on.

Hey Larraine,

It depends on your plan. You should be able to find more information about your plan directly from your Self-Serve (View rate plan). If you know the exact name of your plan, please let us know so we can assist you further right here.

ThanksĀ
