billing problem for a non Canadian customer

Hi, I'm a non Canadian citizen that have contratect a kodoo sim and when I've tried to pay the bill I've found it impossible. I don't have neither a Canadian credit card nor a bank account in Canada. I've tried to pay through the Web but I was not possible. I also tried with the *611, to register my foreign credit card but as I've understood it's not possible to register a credit card via phone. Am I right? or shoud I call *611 anyway and contact with an assistant. I've heard that they will charge $10 por the assistance.
When I chose Kodoo I didn't know that it would be so difficult to pay the bill. I've also heard that it's possible to pay using Western Union, but they charge me $15 for every payment.

I believe that a Canadian credit card is required. Do you have a Canadian bank account? Are you here long term or just visiting for a few months? You can pay with that by adding Koodo as a payee. If you are here for a shorter time you can use a prepaid credit card. Visa debit cards work as well.

Koodo will know charge you to do something you could have done yourself via self serve. Since you cannot do this on your own, you won't be charged a fee.

You must call in to register a foreign credit card.

Alternatively if you have PayPal and a trusted Canadian friend you could easily have them add your account to their online banking bill payment system and just send them the money to pay your bill.

@ Maria, are you here for a few months? Long enough to open a Canadian account? If yes, you could pay your bill there, likely at no extra costs.

I don't have a Canadian bank account and I'm not sure if I'll be alloed to do it as I'm under 18
I'll be here 11 months as I'll be studying in a Canadian high school. I'l try to register my international credit card calling to the customer service and if this is not possible I'll let my host family know this problem. I hope they can use their credit card o bank account and then pay my bill to them.
I'll let you know if I can solve this problem.

Maria, you could also pay at a Koodo store. They do have a different point-of-sale system and your international card may simply work there. Try that first!
