Billing incorrect

Just received my first billing for my phone. Being charged $65.00 but my contract says its only $50.00. Was on hold with Koodoo service for 1 hr 45 minutes.

That will explain the pro-rated aspect of your first bill and how you were not charged more on on daily basis

@ Melanie I hope Goran's reply helped explain what you see on your bill. I would have thought, when you upgraded to your new phone back in June, the sales rep have explained what happens when you change plans. It sounds like that didn't happen. :-( 

If I may recommend as well, for the future, the last thing you may want to consider is calling. It's definitely not quickest and easiest place to get an answer to questions. Our Community is full of helpful customers like Goran et al, who have a wealth of knowledge about all things mobile as you just experienced. Even if it's related to your bill. While they can't see it they have seen many of these questions before. Thanks for your understanding!


P.S.:Ahhhhh....just looked at your bill.....turns out it's not proration. The $15 is your tab charge for paying back your new phone in installments. It's also on your agreement, right below where your plan of $50 is shown.
