Bill Charge from Unknown number

Hi Good morning , I spoke at length yesterday with a customer service representatives reagrding an strange call registered to my account on the 12th of December 2017 at 12:14am. The phone number is : 866 301 1942. which has been registered at 52 minutes with a charge of $78.00. I am totally horrified as it is impossible that such a call was made on my phone so i have no idea how and where this charge is coming from. I gave the following reasons for why there is no way such a call came from my cell phone. 1. The number is unknown to me and not recognised. 2.. I was away and had traverlled from Canada to England and other places. I checked the number on Google and found it is a number used by telemarketers and I definitely did not speak to any telemarketing person at all and to have this on my tab for 52 minutes is totally mind boggling. I really don't understand how Koodo can have this registered to my account. 3. I did make a few calls for a minute or two minutes to check on my children and this is evident on my bill because I was always concious of my roaming charges so would use whatsapp if I needed to have a lengthy chat with them. I would appreciate your advice. Thanks.

I'm not sure what we could tell you beyond whatever you did with the rep. Billing disputes must be handled directly with a rep as it is. It's possible that it's a glitch attributed to you but this is something that you'll need to speak again directly to Koodo about at length to get reversed.

Are you sure no one had access to your phone at all who might have made a call? Glitches are possible and do happen (100% is not possible) but statistically it's unlikely to happen

That's a Bell customer service number.  Do you have any services with Bell.

When you spoke with the Koodo customer service rep, what did they say?

Thanks so much for getting back to me. No one else had access to my phone and I didn't speak to Bell while I was away. Customer service rep asked to email complaint so it can be investigated.
