That whole table is very misleading.

If you click on Barbados, what's largely available is 2G service and 3G 2100, none of which Koodo supports!!! So just because your phone works in Canada on 3G 850/1900 is no guarantee of service in that location.

Unless they happen to have an international phone that was bought elsewhere, a run-of-the-mill client that bought a phone at a Koodo boutique is likely to be complaining here. Already seen too much of that stuff, though the many that work really go unreported, in all fairness.

Would rather hear about real-world experiences other than just dishing out the company line. There may well be roaming agreements in place between the carriers, but if the customer's equipment (as sold by Koodo) isn't compatible, is it just the customer's tough luck?

I would plan on using wifi since it's only a week. If you're really desperate to stay in touch, look at the Pinger product on the Play Store.

Better ask Koodo themselves or find out about international use or best yet forget about using your cell whilst there for ten to one you'll be paying a lot. Just use email and a coffee shop or hotel's web access. Stay in touch by way of the internet and emails instead!
