Seeing as how its back to school time Koodo should have some new Back to school promo plans, a tab small promo, a tab medium promo and a tab large promo plan. Right now im very happy with what Koodo has to offer.

the Tab small-lite plan would be $30 and offersoffers
-500 min and unlimited Text
-Caller ID and VM
750mb of data
- Is Canada wide (still falls under the tab small)
The Tab Small promo plan would be $40 and offer
-unlimited talk & text Canada wide
- 2 GB of Data
- Called ID and VM
- in addition to Koodo's current offerings

the Tab medium Promo would be $55 and offer
- Unlimited Canada wide talk and text
- 3 GB of Data
-Caller ID and VM
- in addition to Koodo's current offerings

The Tab Large promo plan would be $85 and offer
- Unlimited Canada wide talk and Text
- 7GB of Data
-Caller ID and VM
- in addition to Koodo's current offerings

furthermore id like Koodo to offer a mobile account balance, you can actually add money to your tab, one way or another Koodo still gets paid and when consumers want to buy a new phone they can save on their own terms.

Im very aware that there is a low chance Koodo would adopt any of these ideas but if Koodo wants to get more customers they should be original and offer something that competitors don't have yet.

If koodo did offer these plans the trickle affect would see other carriers aggressively match these plans thus consumers win in the end.

Well, you already know the answer, this will never see the light of day. The pricing model of our national carriers (Big3+flankers) is to jack up pricing while reducing the amount of included data. Since your proposition (while good imho) goes against this, I can say with 99% confidence that you'll never see this, sadly :(

yup and thats pretty sad considering koodo will let me grandfather my 6GB data plan im ok but our wireless industry needs a serious change (not getting into that).

Agreed. The serious change needed isn't likely to come though. The only way to make a dent into that system is to go for the jugular, i.e. their profits.

We need to stop paying for data, altogether. That's the only way to devaluate something: not consuming it. It's what happened with voice minutes. As phones evolved into pocket computers, people's reliance on voice minutes dropped considerably.

So considerably, in fact, that we now get unlimited calls all over the country. Who would have believed that even 5 years ago? No coincidence here, the less value something has, the more you can buy for less.

Anyway, I'm getting carried away now, nothing will change and people won't just stop using data overnight. So! With that said, have a good day Mohamed :)

Trust us, we all love the idea.

Main problem with your list is that the Tab Large is a better value than Medium or Small.. The point of the Tab Large isnt for value, its for a higher subsidy of the device. Tab medium is Koodo's bread and butter, so anything under that category should be a better value than Tab Large.

Thats just nit picking of course. None of these plans will ever take into effect while the big three rule the Canadian market.
