Available local minutes reported on self serve different than the plan i signed up for.

why does self serve show that my plan includes 107 min local airtime minutes when i just signed up for the Canada Wide Data Plan 45 which is supposed to have 400 anytime minutes if you sign up before may 1(new customer) I just received the phone yesterday and made only a few calls.

Proration happens when you don't have a service for the FULL 30 day bill period. Based on the explanation you gave, you would not have the full 400 minutes until the start of your new bill cycle.

When you get a chance, take a look at the "Account Detail" section of the bill when you receive it. that section will show you the plan with dates in brackets. those dates represent the time period you had the plan for.
