Hi. I am from the UK and my daughter is studying for a year in Ottawa as part of her degree course. She wanted a simple prepaid plan and Koodo offered the best deal for what she wants a phone to do in Canada. We bought a sim card yesterday but when trying to set up automatic payments for her base plan found we could not because none of our credit/debit cards are registered at a Canadian address (we are from the UK). We want to set up automatic payments to get the 10% discount and also to make sure she does not lose any add ons if she forgets to renew every month. Is there a solution to this?

Looks like for Automatic top ups there is no alternative solution.

However to top up regularly you can purchase prepaid vouchers as well.
