Automatic Outgoing Call to 6475804001 (an unknown number)

Koodo prepaid SIM recently activated on a BLU phone. The phone has no record of outgoing calls to the # 6475804001, but the usage history on the online account account shows occasional outgoing calls with "Originating Location" = "All" for few seconds (5 to 6 seconds, see excerpt from usage history from online account below) and the prepaid account keeps deducting a minute of usage for each of these calls.

The number 6475804001 is not in the phones phone directory either.

(Q) Any idea what's causing this?

That would be your voicemail number. Nothing to worry about!

Is it Koodo voicemail number? Did you check your voicemail at the time?

Like Allan said, it's the voicemail. So it's normal you have no idea whose's is this number

It's a prepaid account so a few seconds of the call deducted a full minute each time  over a period of  10 days.

Spoke to Koodo customer service and was credited minutes (with a few bonus minutes for the inconvenience.)

Haven't setup voice mail. Will have to figure out what is triggering the phone to automatically dial the (as indicated above that it is a) voicemail #.

Thanks to all for your responses.

Do you know you can check your VM from another phone without using minutes of your prepaid card?

@azure123, checking voicemail from your phone DOES use your minutes. It isn't free.

Right, It does. I forgot about this, using unlimited minutes and visual voicemail for few years made me ignore this.
