From what I can find, you should get partial 3G compatibility (one band), and no LTE compatibility.

Thank you Cory & Jay, that helps a lot.
Does that mean phone calls wont be supported? (2G network??).. it works like a phone in other country but I'm thinking to use it in Canada

It will work in some geographic locations, but not all. 850 MHz towers are not located everywhere.

The asus is a tablet with quadband gsm antenna, https://www.frequencycheck.com/models/A1Xjd/asus-zenpad-3-8-0-z581kl-td-lte-16gb, it will be fine with 3G of telus and koodo (850 & 1900)

Koodo does not operate a 2G GSM network. While the Asus ZenPad has a quad band antenna, it is limited to UMTS Band 5 (B5) 850 MHz. UMTS Band 2 or (B2) 1900 MHz is missing. This device will have limited 3G phone service.

Phone call will work on it, I believe.
