With all due respect to the Mobile Masters (MM) who I know provide a huge amount of knowledge and support to Koodo users - I do find myself asking the question ... are the opinions expressed those of the MM themselves OR are the answers provided an official Koodo response which is using said MM and this community as an avenue for dissemination?

"The Mobile Masters don’t work for Koodo. They’re customers and fans just like you. Koodo employees are not eligible to become a Mobile Master."

You can read this, and many other FAQ about the MM program here:

The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Ex. Data block should be free.  If the call center is so crappy, then everything should be doable online in self serve, but it isnt.

However if sometimes our responses to questions mirror those of Koodo.
Ex. Please download your detailed PDF ebill to see the details over your overages

I understand that they are not Koodo employees, my question is in regard to the opinions they express and if they are official Koodo opinions or the opinions of a privateer who holds MM status.

The latter, like Dennis mentioned above.

Nothing we say is official. We (I) have often expressed very strong opinions when I don't agree with Koodo's decisions or policies.

Obviously Koodo doesn't particularly want people who are negative all the time to be Mobile Masters, as they themselves outline in the guidelines: https://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/mobile-masters-faqs-rjrn04a8k2tbl

"Any personal attack, excessively crude language, religious debate, spam, advertisement, lack of consistent participation or irrelevant posts will put their Mobile Master status at risk."

Why do you ask?

@Sophia - some mobile masters make and develop some very strongly  it opinionated comments that can readily guide the reader to accept said opinion as Koodo fact. I'm not going to start naming names (or screen names) but there is enough history of it that a little search will quickly find you some examples.

Mobile masters also do not have the authority to delete comments from threads. If yours were, in fact, removed, it would have been done by a koodo moderator.

Only Koodo staff delete comments if they feel it is against the rules of the community.

What you experienced was probably a glitch in the matrix.  This sometimes results in a double post a post that does not show up.

Just so you fully understand, freedom of speech allows you to set up your own means of distributing your thoughts without government interference. It does not include you being able to publish on someone else's property ( physical, paper, or electronic) any thing you wish to say. This community has guidelines, and moderators who manage the space, and who may remove comments contrary to the guidelines, or which they feel do not contribute to knowledge transfer .

In effect, it is Koodo's house; don't spit on the carpet.

Government can interfere in certain circumstances. (ex. hate speech, threats, classified information, NDA, etc)

@ David, what exactly is the comment you think was deleted? I can't see any on this specific thread that was removed. That said we do reserve the right to remove any comments that doesn't meet our Community guidelines. To be hones, it rarely ever happens though.

Since you can't be specific in your accusations, I chose to accept the "challenge".

You participated in a Windows thread, nothing was deleted from there and you were quite happy with the conversation. It is here: https://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/does-koodo-have-windows-10-phones

You also participated in a few BB conversations, a few of which you started yourself: https://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/blackberry-10-3-3-software-update again, nothing was deleted.

Another one you started in which you warned BB haters not to reply (which they didn't, nothing was deleted and the conversation is quite civil): https://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/blackberry-os-updates

Here is another BB conversation in which not a single post was deleted: https://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/-blackberry-keyone

There was one conversation which contains a few posts what were removed. This post dates from FEBRUARY TWO THOUSAND AND FIFTEEN (so well over 2 years ago). Are you referring to that conversation? If so, why do you bring it up NOW? https://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/blackberry-10-3-os-will-koodo-release-it-despite-not-...

I've been stalked - not sure that fits with the remit of a MM but hey.
