I'm currently using a dying unlocked Google Nexus 5 and need a new phone.
I found these online but I'm not sure if they are compatible with Koodo as when I check the "North American Carrier Bands and Frequencies Chart", Koodo is not listed.

these are the two phones:
LG G4: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875136355&cm_re=lg_g4-_-75-136-355-_-Produc...

Nexus 5x: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875136383&cm_re=nexus-_-75-136-383-_-Produc...

if you are able to tell me if these phones are compatible with Koodo, will I have full LTE coverage and what not? Thank you so much

You're looking for 850/1900mhz for 3g and 1700/2100 fo lte and 2600 for lte-a.

Willmyphonework.net will also tell you what will work with what network.

Thank you so much!

could you take a look at the links for me though please?
because Koodo isn't listed. I see 850/1900 listed for bell rogers telus etc on both phones on the 3G but i see nothing about 1700/2100 or 2600 for both phones

Koodo is owned by Telus and on th same network. If it says Telus it will work.

Willmyphonework.net will allow you to select Koodo and t exact sub model of whatever you are looking at.

Band 4 lte is 1700/2100. The g4 will work. M phone won't let me see the specs for the 5x for some reason but given its a nexus sol in NA I'm going to say yes f both networks.
