Hi, I currently have the $20 plan with 100 minutes and unlimited text. I was wondering if there was a way I could add data on to my plan. I remember before the website change, you had the option to include add-ons. Now I don't seem to be able to find that option.

Does anyone know if it's still possible or would I have to choose a new plan?

Hi Trevor, Koodo Monthly doesn't offer data add ons. Instead each plan either has a bucket of available data and and overage rate or a pay per use rate for data use.

Koodo prepaid does offer data add ons and they include roll over data.

That's unfortunate, the data limits at the lower end plans are rather miniscule. The higher end plans would just be a waste since I don't need anything more than what the lower end plans offer and data.

You just need to pay data pay per use.
You should be able to see your data overage charges through self serve. If it's old enough plan, your overage charges might be better than current plans offering. (My kids overage charge is $0.02/mb)
If you can't see it call customer service and find out. Then you can calculate/compare the price.

I tried looking on self serve but didn't say how much it was. It keeps switching from the new and old website layout, which is a little annoying. The old website was much easier to navigate and had more options.

Call customer service *611 from your phone and ask them what is your pay per use data/ overage charges are.
They don't charge you for asking questions.
(You can mentioned them that you tried to look for it through self serve and couldn't find it.)

Worth investigating: $13.50 a month for the cheapest plan with a registered credit card, then pick your bucket of minutes and data that never expire as long as your monthly is paid. $55 will get you 500 minutes + 1 gig of data that can be replenished separately. 100 bonus minutes for signing up with credit card. Price of SIM is $20, but refunded on account activation, even if you port in your current number.

Easy on-line activation. Only hiccup is that most retailers other than Koodo kiosques don't carry the SIM that you will need, but they are available on eBay.

You'll have to do your own calculations based on usage to see what's best.

Thanks for the info. I did not expect data to be that expensive. I initially thought that I might be able to add 1gb of data for $5 onto my existing plan. I think I might have to consider other options.
