I am using the Huawei P10.
Data can be used in 4G.
But every time I make or receive a call, it changes to 3G.
I changed the APN setting several times, but nothing changed.
How can I make a 4G call?

hi Sangsaby,

Your devices must be on the support list of VoLTE to be able to make call on LTE https://www.koodomobile.com/help/voLTE
The P10 wasn't there, so the behavior of dropping to 3G when making call was normal.

Are there really only 2 devices that can be used for VoLTE calling??

There are more than 2 if you count iPhone models individually.

For Android, only the V30 was there for now. Any iPhones, that is iphone 6 or newer can be used.

So basically two. 1 android and all iPhone 6 or newer. And let's be honest, all iPhones are the same. Lol

Yeah, The problem is there. Every Android is different, hence support and update areĀ  dismal (compared to iPhone(s)).

I had the same issue. Tore my hair out over it. Ended up changing one setting from ipv4 to ipv4/ipv6. Was a done deal from there.

Sorry, missed the part where you are trying to use 4g calling. Thought you just couldn't get LTE going...

You cant make a LTE call unless you have a supported device. Koodo is seriously lacking on what devices will be able to use voLTE/Wifi calling. Hopefully soon more devices will be added.

Absolutely agree. I just switched back to Koodo after going to another carrier and didn't even consider it possible that Koodo wouldn't have support for many more devices then they do... Would be nice to see more devices added soon for sure.
