Any way to opt out of receiving Koodo sales calls?

Am on Koodo prepaid - Koodo (or whoever is doing heir marketing sales calls - the incoming call display said 'Koodo Home', with the phone number being 866-995-6636) has called me on my cell, wanting to discuss upgrading to another plan, blah blah etc  ... and, I am being charged for those minutes, for however long it takes to convince the persistent caller that their call is unwanted.

Unless I can somehow opt out, considering the unwanted calls are using up my prepaid minutes (which imo is outrageous, really), I won't be answering any more calls that come from Koodo, and will just have to hope that any such call that might come to me in the future isn't for something really important about my account.

Anybody know if there is any way I can opt out of receiving marketing / solicitation calls from Koodo?

I know there's an easy way to opt out of texts.
Next time they call just tell them you don't want to receive any more calls or you can send Koodo a message on facebook saying you don't want to receive any more calls. That's my only advice for you.
And are you actually being charged for those calls? You'd think the minutes would be zero-rated and not count towards yours.

There shouldn't be any charges for the call Gary. And yes you can certainly opt out. Simply gives us a call and we can mark your account as per your wish.

Thank you both. Much appreciated.

If we call in, hopefully we wouldn't be charged the $5 customer service fee? Perhaps we'll give it a try on facebook first ;-)

Thanks again.

Technically you get charged for things you ca do yourself done by a rep, regardless of if you call in or use FB. Since afaik there is no opt-our feature in self-serve, you wont get charged.
