Do I get charged a roaming fee? If I answer a call from the USA?

Yes you would. I would suggest looking at adding a roaming package. https://shop.koodomobile.com/plans/ad...

Without an add on yes. If you don't wish to get an add on or prevent getting charged. I would put your phone in flight/airplane mode in the settings until you get back on the Canadian border side.

Hold on, are you in the US with your phone? If you are, then you are indeed roaming. If you're in Canada and someone calls or texts you, you are not roaming.

I should have been clearer. I have an added on USA roaming package on my cell phone while in the States this month. But does my family in Canada get charged when they accept my calls and texts from me.? They have regular koodo packages.
Thanks for your help.

To your family, your number is always Canadian and any charges they may have are dependent entirely upon the area code of your number. It doesn't matter to them if you're in Canada, US, or Thailand.

You do not get charged extra fees for receiving calls from the US while in Canada, although you will use minutes just like you would when receiving a call from a Canadian number.
