Am i able to purchase a new iphone separately (from a friend) , and switch my plan over to the new one? If so does it cost any extra money?

I am planning on buying an iphone from a friend, i currently have a blackberry, is it possible for me to switch my plan over to the new iphone, how much would that cost?

You can switch your plan on selfserve anytime once a month as for the iphone it will only work on koodo if it is unlocked or locked to koodo or telus
EDIT didn't read it right, just pop your sim into your new iphone and you're ready to go
Also, which iphone are you getting?

Also iphone 5 or newer will require a nano sim. Those are $10 on postpaid and $20 on prepaid

Keep in mind if you have any blackberry specific plan addons they will not work with the iPhone.
