You should be. I already saw people doing it. It should work the same way as cellular

It's unhelpful to say that one 'should be' able to do it.
If you don't know for sure, best to abstain from answering the question.

I'm just back from a Koodo kiosk where I was told that it was not possible; the Koodo employee didn't seem well-informed generally. All this reflects poorly on Koodo.

I'm an existing Koodo customer.
Is leaving Koodo the best option?

I think the words should are used because not all numbers can be ported. It is possible to port landline numbers though.

You can test to see whether your number is eligible to be ported here:

You can do it but it may take a little bit longer than porting from mobile so don't be surprised.

Takes 2-5 business days to port wireline to wireless.

Keep in mind that as you're cutting out the landline, you will no longer be able to receive fax at that number, and caller ID name display is still evolving on TELUS/Koodo's network.

Make sure you don't cancel your line you have now or you will lose the number, simply do the port with koodo and it will automatically cancel your current account with the carrier you have for the landline now.
