I agree.  If they can do it for Data, why cant they do it for talk.

Koodo really should be the No surprise overage company.  That would make all of us Choose Happy and be happy

The more that we can publicize it, the more chance we have to have it implemented.... I posted publicly on Facebook... any other ideas? We really need to keep this on the top of the board for it to be noticed and action to be done!

I think there is an idea about that somewhere. Search it on the community and look at its status. Maybe the idea is under consideration?

When I looked in the forums about it, there are a few times that the idea was raised - some were 2 years ago. I really don't think we'll get anything accomplished on it unless there is consistent requests and publicity on it. I emailed customer service on it with no reply... That is why I'm really pushing it in the community - as a community we have the power together to make change!!!

That's a good strategy.

Honestly to differentiate itself, Koodo should become the "No Surprise Overages" company

One of my replies on this topic has been removed by the koodo community - why? Who?

I read the fine print --- it was an older topic I replied to, so I guess I am glad I started a new topic on the same subject :-). ( feeling foolish now)

The idea itself was only posted 6 days ago. You KNOW Koodo doesn't work that fast.

Bell seems to have Koodo beat in this regard! My husband has a Bell plan, and recently got a text notification that he had gone over his long distance usage and would incur $15, then another text a later that day saying he was up to $30 (he was doing an unusual amount of conference calls for work). The great thing is by going to the Bell website you could change your plan retroactively if you wished to avoid the extra charges. In his case, for only $15 we switched to a no limit long distance plan, the only catch being you had to keep it for 2 months before switching back. In our case, it still saved us money and stress, especially as it was early in the billing cycle and the final bill may have been even larger.  Its about time Koodo did something like this. Don't let Bell outdo you, Koodo!!
