Adding Businesss Email (webmail) address to phone

I bought a Samsung S II X yesterday and am having an awful time adding my business email. It is What info do I need to have in order to add the email to my phone?

You may have to talk to your ITtechnician in order to find which settings you will have to use. Popular email services such as Gmail and hotmail are preprogrammed into the phone for ease of use.

You will need to try these settings to setup your email:
If it's POP3 or IMAP
Incoming Server Name: or
Port: 110 (POP) or 143 (IMAP)
Use Authentication: Yes
Use SSL: No
Outgoing Server Name:
Port: 25 Use Authentication:
No Use SSL: No

However if it's an Exchange server you should contat Company IT like Steven suggested

Just because the email domain is, that does not make the server name "". The website is hosted by a company as well as their email service which is the server information you need.

Also, the outgoing server makes no sense. Why would the outgoing server be It's NOT a telus email.

Mat, it's clear you weren't sure of the answer, but providing an answer like that only works to confuse the customer and frustrate them even more when it doesn't work. Food for thought.

Ahmad, to send SMTP mail through the Telus network, you need to use the Telus outgoing server. Most networks block outbound email from 3rd party servers to help combat spam, e.g. the telus server will be work via 3G data but be blocked on a shaw wifi connection, while the shaw server will work on the shaw wifi network but be blocked through 3G.

It doesn't. You'll notice that use authentication is set to 'no'.
