There's no place to make an announcement, other than to try rewording it and submitting it as an idea. It's doesn't make too much sense to place an announcement under praise, problem or question.

For example, if someone catches wind of a software upgrade, or wants to share a repair solution or workaround for a device, or if someone wants to pass along a new tip or suggest the latest and greatest app to use, or to discuss all things tech, make an announcement.

The announcements area could also serve as a way for official Koodo and tech support reps alike, to alert community members to imminent or existing system outages.

Just a thought, comments welcomed.

It would be nice if they allowed a User Announcement. Just so there is no confusion from official announcements

I'm liking this idea! Koodo could probably implement this too without a lot of difficulty.

I wish, Daniel... but it is GetSatisfaction who holds the programmer's strings. But I agree it's a great idea!

I can't see this happening. While it may be Get Satsifaction's platform, Koodo would not want others to create unnecessary announcements.

I suggested the same thing awhile back and koodo shot the idea down saying they wouldn't want such a section in the forum, obviously though I love the idea ;-)
