I get alerts when my bill is due, and how much it is. Why can't an alert be set when I am close to using all my airtime minutes? I just got a bill that is DOUBLE than usual. And get serious, people don't have time or remember to check 611 or my online account.

Hey Lori. Get the app called my data manager. I have been using it for a couple of months now and it works. Good luck.

I have the same issue,  it is about time Koodo came out with a way to alert customers when they exceed their airtime usage.  This is available for data usage, why not for voice?

At the moment it looks like it a surreptitious way for Koodo to generate more revenue from unsuspecting customers.

I have the same issue.  I would like to be able to setup an a text alert for when my air time min are close to my plan limit.

Unfortunately it's not an option, with any Canadian carrier.
I'd suggest checking self serve frequently or switching to a plan with more/unlimited minutes.

This is apparently more complicated than we think. Nobody seems to have an airtime alert, although the companies are able to send alerts regarding data usage. Go figure. We've been with Koodo for nearly 7 years now, and find this company excellent. We hope they will supply this app to their customers soon.

That would be PERFECT for my grandparents, it's a pain to always call *611 or for them to text me and I check online for them.

Now EVERY morning I send both of them a text with their remaining minutes for the cycle.

You could try getting them a Google Home or Amazon Echo and show them how to ask it how many minutes they have left.

Unfortunately it's just not in the cards.
