Add a feature within 14 days?

I'm a long-time Kood customer, and I just bought a new phone at the Koodo store. The new phone has visual voicemail, so I want to add this feature to my plan. Self serve says I can't make any changes for 14 days... is there no way to purchase this add-on without waiting 14 days?

You can visit the kiosk and they should be able to do it before the 14 days I believe.

The system doesn't allow it I guess. I thought add-ons don't count towards that limit but I guess they do. You could try sending a private message to Koodo via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter to see if they can do it.

Thanks guys.... I live in a small community, and am back home, so no longer have access to a kiosk... I'll try facebook.

They will help you there for sure Trevor! I will also look at understanding why this rule is in place for customers who are upgrading. Thanks for the heads up! 
It would have been nice if you had listened to me months ago. This is a bug that came from TELUS. It does not happen to every upgrade or activation. When it happens for whatever reason, it always takes more than 14 days to go away.

Just realized Trevor that you have Pixel. We don't have VVM released yet for Android devices.
