Post paid monthly must be activated over the phone due to past issues with fraud.

Prepaid can activate online

Dennis hit the nail on the head.

It's always recommended that you activate in the store. All the reps are highly trained and can activate most lines in under 5 minutes.

*611 Needs to always play it safe, as fraud (as Dennis mentioned) is prevalent, and they have the limitation of not being able to see the ID in front of them.

Feel free to visit the stores next time and they'll whip right through it!

Phone was a Koodo phone that have been used before and SIM card was purchased through Walmart they provide no services And again all I'm saying is since you have to use the phone service rather than online why bother with online at all

Yeah, you're right.

All I can say is next time visit the real professionals! Wal-mart is cute and all, but the pro's work out of the stores for a reason.

Enjoy your new service though Jim!
