I have been trying to activate a cell online for over 3 hours, first it said it couldn't get confirmation of my email, then it said to log out and log back in, then it didn't recognize my email. So I decide to start all over and then it says my SIM card is invalid. What has gone wrong? I've never had problems with any other mobility company activating online.

Is it a post paid/monthly account or prepaid account you're trying to set up? Edit: I see you've tagged prepaid as your choice. Best option is to give customer service a call in the morning at *611 to get this straightened out. Not sure if new activations can be processed after business hours, I'm sure someone will chime in with more details. Here's the link for Koodo prepaid self-serve.

Thank you for your reply. They should specify hours of online activation if this is the case. I have to travel in the morning and needed it set up before I left.

You're welcome, Kimberly. I would think the service is available 24/7, but I could be mistaken. I added the prepaid link in my initial reply to you, because often people try to set up a prepaid account through the post-paid/monthly portal. If that's not the case, then you'll have to call customer service in the morning.

I did do it through the prepaid portal but it's getting late and I'm tired. I probably messed it up just can't figure out how.

Just a quick note, one of the other Mobile Master's (Ahmad) has indicated the activation system was down temporarily which could explain why you were experiencing problems earlier. According to Hyup, the system appears to be working now. Link below.

I'd try to call *611.. Mine wasn't activated due to a bill payment being late, and it still connected me to nice people to help, so maybe it will work for you? Give it a go anyway, good luck :)
