So a couple years ago I got an Andriod phone on the Koodoo network. At the time I only needed to talk and text. Now I've just added a data plan through the self-serve - but my phone doesn't seem to be able to access the internet. I tried following the steps here:
http://koodomobile.com/en/on/switch2k... but it didn't work. Do I need to call Koodoo and have them "switch on" the data for the phone or am I missing something?

Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > Packet data is turned on (the settings menus might look different depending on which Android you're using). If you've put in the APN settings correctly according to the page you posted and enabled data on your device, you should see either a 3G or H/H+ symbol appear at the top of your phone with arrows going up and down, indicating data transmission.

Also make sure there is no data block on your account.

Also remember that your phone will continue to use data when you are not aware of it. This is called "background data" and if you want to avoid that then make sure you aren't running any applications in the background when not needed and applications such as weather or email isn't syncing to the server every 30 minutes or so.

If data issue becomes a problem, you can always google to see how you can save data more and more.

Ahhhh just found the data block option in the add-ons section. Didn't realize it was there. Thanks!
