activating a second line and referals

Hi I ordered a second  sim on my account, to create a new line for my wife.    Before ordering she filled out the refer a friend form with her email address (different than the exiting account)

The sim is arriving soon, just wondering what i need to do when the sim arrives, so that both referrals are given (mine and hers are awarded).  does the new line have a new email address assigned to it or does it go under the primary account.  (i know referrals are email based)

Hi thanks for the help I understand the referal steps. And it says the new account should use the same email address as their account. This is where I am confused. I ordered the sim while logged in under my account. Does that mean the new sim will be under my email? Or does each sim get its own login info but still under the my account overview. I know with koodo you can have upto 7 accounts under one account. So just trying to figure out so I don't lose the referals.

@Dennis: That doen't rule out the "email-based" (account) process. they could refer within one account (same email).

What you said was "As long as the phone number entered for the referral is not changed prior to the referral being fulfilled, you should be good once you complete all the steps". I don't believe this is the case. They can change it.

Changing your phone number will result in a referral being declined and you will need to call in to investigate your referral

They just need to update their number in the referral system. I did it, no need to call.

Well, if they were late or didn't update then they needed to call.

So what you posted is confirming the process wasn't number-based. They changed the number and the referral was still valid.

What i posted shows the number was changed and the referral didnt go through without more work that is outside of the 4 steps
