I want to re-activate a prepaid phone I had for my son, and cancel/suspend my existing plan. My phone is basic, the one I want to activate has a SIM card, I also want to transfer my koodo phone number the new phone, is this at all possible? and can I do online?

Assuming the prepaid phone to be re-activated is unlocked or previously from Koodo, you should just have to buy a prepaid SIM card from Koodo and then activate the new SIM card online. During the online activation process you can choose to port a number.

Note that when you do the porting, the old phone/account gets cancelled automatically.

If the one you want to activate has a sim card and the sim has been inactive for 90 days then it will no longer work

Might as well just buy the SIM card as you get the $20 credit when activating anyways.

True. Basically a free sim card if you include the credit
